AnneSMITHSMITH (Cramlington). The family of the late Anne (nee Stewart), wish to express their sincere thanks to her neighbours, colleagues and many friends for their kindness and sympathy - several of whom have provided unwavering support over recent months. Special thanks to the surgeons and staff of Ward 14A at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead; Dr. Dark and team at the Northern Centre for Cancer Treatment; Macmillan Nurses and District nurse teams; Dr. Oriel Jones of Cramlington Village Surgery and all at St. Oswald's Hospice - contributions to which were greatly appreciated. The funeral service and arrangements of Reverend Hilary Savage of St. Nicholas' Church and to James Hamilton of H. Duckworth Funeral Directors were greatly appreciated and ensures Anne will be remembered as she lived, extraordinary woman, with courage and dignity.
